Free cloning of different capacity drives

Hey everyone. I just got and installed my new SSD today, but now I'm at the cloning stage. Does anyone know of free software that will allow me to clone specific things from my HDD to the SSD, and not just fail because the destination drive is too small to clone all the contents of the source drive?

(To be more specific, I'd like to clone just the OS right now.)

Actually this doesn't look like it can do what I need. At this point I think I might just perform a clean install.
