BigChimp97

*facepalm*... the failed Nintendo console from the 90s.

The thing that killed VR for over 2 decades:

1920px-Festival_du_jeu_video_20080926_01

It was amazingly stupid.

How much were they? Doesn't look that bad.

I should be studying.

It was considered really expensive as a console back then priced at $180. Other (and better) competing consoles, including Nintendo's own, were cheaper.

Build: CPU: Intel Core i5 4690k | CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo | Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5 | RAM: 8GB G-Skill Ares 1600Mhz CL9 | Storage: 120GB Samsung 840 Evo + WD Blue 1TB 64MB Cache + Seagate Barracuda 2TB 64MB Cache | GPU: MSI GTX 960 | Case: Cooler Master Storm Enforcer | Power Supply: EVGA 600B Non-Modular |

Yes, not to mention that you couldn't "wear" it, it stood on a table and you had to look through it that way. It was a complete joke. How can people not know the virtual boy?

I didn't have videogames or cable television growing up. We never had a computer until I was in middle school. I had a pretty sheltered childhood. I went outside and played instead.

I should be studying.

I'm hoping it's cheap enough for me to get rid of my old warrior of a 560ti

650 TI Boost still kicking it in my build, wanting a large upgrade so I can throw it in some HTPC.

You probably were not even born... that was almost 20 years ago, I was a kid back then. I had video games, action figures and skated a lot. Video games doesn't necessarily mean you don't go out outside you silly goose!  :D haha

I was born the year after, and I didn't even learn about the gamecube until middle school. So I wouldn't have known, even if I had been born.

I should be studying.

I don't understand why people think it'll be like the same performance. it'll probably be 35% better than the last generation (780 not 780ti) and i'll be priced the price of a 780 now probably.

I'm feeling a little sheepish for getting my 780Ti now, but worst comes to worst I can sell it to one of my friends who runs a 770 or something and grab an 880.  Performance reviews pending, of course.
