hard drive cloning ?

hi there people at the moment i have 2 1tb hdd's and everything i have on my pc is on one of those at the moment but i want to streamline the original drive down to just the os so that i can then clone that to an ssd can anyone with some experience with this sort of stuff give me some advice please?

sorry that doesnt make a lot of sense haha! erm basically i want to move everything except the os to the other drive now films and music thats fine but how do i move programs and games and so on without messing things up?
