At the moment I'm planning to build buy my own Gaming PC, I've decided to get an AMD processor rather than an Intel processor because I want to put more of my money into the Graphics Card. However when browsing on Novatech I found this Bundle- http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/barebones/bb-83208b.html ,this bundle comes pre-built so it would save time there however I am wondering if the case and the PSU are up to scratch. BTW I am going to get an After Market cooler. Any Advise?

It's okay, the main problem is that the PSU seems to be a no-name, and it's being referred to as a "750W Gaming PSU" which I personally wouldn't trust.

I think you would be better off doing it all from scratch

Let me know your full budget and I will draw up a spec for you!

If I called them and checked what PSU it is, would that be better?

It would still probably be a cheap, low quality PSU and that is how they make the bundle so cheap. You're better off doing it from scratch. I'm sure the lovely @ShadowCaptain would be able to get you a nice list of components.

£5 over budget, but you can lower it, by swapping the SSD for a 120GB model, or just having the SATA. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/gjsBGX

Dayum, that's a great build for £800. If someone was willing to pay a little extra for a nice case, that would make a really nice gaming build.

Just wondering what is the difference with the intel processors compared to the amd one I chose because all I can see is the Amd 8320 having more cores and more power per core? As well as that the intel processors are more expensive,

You shouldn't skimp on CPU to put more money into the video card.  You want to keep the system balanced.  Go watch Linus' techquickie video on bottlenecking.  Also, because it's for gaming, an i5 4690k will basically run you the same amount of money as an 8350 or 8320, but give you much better performance.

Intel cores are faster due to their smaller manufacturing process and the fact that each core gets its own cache, unlike AMD's method of forcing 2 cores to share the same cache, and having a much larger manufacturing process.  The AMD FX series may give you a bit of an edge when performing heavily threaded tasks, but its single core performance is nowhere close to Intel's.  The 8 core AMD CPU's perform more like quad-core Intel CPU's in terms of gaming.

I understand that but from my view the AMD processor has better Ghz and more cores for less. I don't understand how I'm skimping off?

Look at my last post.  GHz and cores aren't everything, you also have to take the manufacturing process and architecture into account.

More ghz and more cores does not make a cpu faster. The i5 still out performs the amd chips in most games

You can get a cheap windows licence on G2A

if not then perhaps look at the cheaper build I did, at £660, will give you money for the windows licence and any other bits and bobs, if you need a gaming mouse or keyboard or whatever ! still a great build for 1080p gaming the 770 is a fantastic card
