CPU Temperatures

Lately I started monitoring my computer's temperatures, like REALLY monitoring it. 

I noticed it has a standing average of 37 degrees C (99 F) under a low to moderate load.  I've noticed from the temperature it reads shortly after a cold boot is 35 defrees C (95 F). 

 

Now my house is typically 24 C (76 F).  My tower is in a VERY open location about 3feet off the ground, I've lately even had the side wide open just because it makes it easier to play and adjust fans and ensure their speed is changing as expected. 

 

I'm thinking my Mobo thermometer is kinda screwed or off a bit, but I've no idea IF this is a plausible theory or if my CPU REALLY increases by 10 degrees during a 1minute boot. 

 

 

I'm a pretty moderate computer user, I play Steam-based game every couple months, but mostly I browse the web and do some pretty light to moderate work on it, so needless to say the set-up is pretty simply and basic.

 

Give me your two cents, and if there are more questions, feel free to ask. 

 

I'm considering getting a "better" heat sink and fan (budget, nothing fancy), but just wanted a second opinion first.

 

 

 

EDIT: I've tried 3 different temperature monitoring programs, all 3 show the same temperature.  So the problem is not a flawed software.

That's quite normal. My room in winter sits at about 22 C and my CPU chills at about 32 C so its normal.

What cpu, cooler and stress temps? Those are normal idle temps for any cpu with any aftermarket cooler. Mine has base idle at 35C and during low usage at 39-41C. During game load its around 60C.
