Making a thread to advice that no one in the UK should get there internet from orange/EE its the worst connection i have ever connected to.

Best ping ever ? EDIT: id also like to add that while pinging bbc.co.uk i was doing nothing at all on my connection and those sort of spikes were happening. Makes online gaming very enjoyable...

Holy shit is that dial up?

Lol nope meant to be 12meg down and i would say 50ping would be acceptable -.- but i think dial up would be better.

Ive herd the same for there mobile internet not the strongest it seems to stay with HSPA+ more then 4G

Yeah they are terrible they refuse to help in any way and if you try to leave them they try everything not to give you the mac code to be able to switch...so bad. I will have to see if i can switch to BT.

Search "Xplornet".

I used to have their satellite service.

Speeds (Advertised as high-speed): Down: 480KB/s Up: 140KB/s Latency: Lowest I ever saw was 1085ms

Needless to say, there have been talks of class-action lawsuits and there are websites dedicated to hating Xplornet.

I'm pretty sure that here in Canada, if a company says "Up to..." they have to consistently provide at least 50% of that. It might not exist though, because companies are getting away with it...

LMAO! SMH... One day I get a phone call from EE saying to get internet service from them. I tell them I have 200Mbps down and 100Mbps up with my current ISP with 'TRUE' unlimited usage subject to fair usage policy (1000GB a month). The sales person thinks that their internet speeds are faster than mine...
