SATA Cable Length for MATX

I wasn't really sure where to put this, so here looks good.

 

I'm waiting to pick up a Maximus VI Gene and Corsair 350D at the end of the month and in preparation, I ordered some 18" SATA cables that were my color of choice. Getting them in the other day, 18" felt a lot smaller than I remember it... (heh, ladies... amirite?!). Anyway, should that be long enough to go from the top 5.25" bay to the back of the case, to the bottom corner of the motherboard, or should I go get myself some longer cables?

Yeah. 18" will be more than enough, an mATX board is only 9.6" x 9.6". You'll have plenty of length to spare.

18" is the common length of SATA cables.

 

The motherboard will come with SATA cables, which may even be your preferred colour.

It's a Maximus VI Gene, which I doubt will have blue SATA cables. Also, when I can't build the computer for 2 more weeks waiting for Haswell, I get a bit antsy. :) They were from Monoprice, so not expensive, but I appreciate having the 9.6" mark pointed out to me. I had 12" stuck in my head for some reason.
