Despite all the latest bad news from Microsoft, It is interesting to see articles like this one. It's hard telling whether this dev has experienced the bad end of Microsoft, but hey It is what it is.

Well, despite being jerks to consumers sometimes, I guess they must be pretty nice to devs.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Is this about the development of Xbox games or PC? If it's Xbox games it doesn't surprise me.

"Working with Microsoft is "perfect" according to Xbox One indie dev" :P

Microsoft is not a nice company. Working with any company, it's safe to say that it's generally going to be a poor overall experience. He's probably just hanging off of Microsoft's buttcheeks in hopes of getting some candy.

edit: This is not to say that companies are completely unable to be good. I'm just going to roll with, he did not get any special treatment aside from maybe having a nice time working with one Microsoft representative.

I really wish that we'd just make organic hardware already, that grows and adapts to the demands it needs to meet. That way, grannies' computers can be floppy sacks of organicness and the 12 year old Minecrafters will look like the guys that only do bicep curls, and the nerdy programmers will finally have justice, with their body-builder rigs that skipped leg day.

"I was paid to do my job and hope I get hired again."

To be fair, I'm sure it must be nice to develop an indie game with a company and get to keep artistic freedom. I love the old school Mickey Mouse style of Cuphead.

You hear so many different stories about working with large companies like that, some say it's good others say it's bad.  I personally think it doesn't matter what company you work for, if you have a personality clash or an arse hole boss it's probably going to suck.   In this case it didn't seem too bad.  I wouldn't assume everyone feels the same though.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
