New Shield or Old Shield?

With the announcement of the new Shield Tablet im a bit confused, how are you supposed to game on that thing? Im thinking its been designed to be plugged into a TV and used with the wireless controller that way, cool I guess but...

 

I really wanted the original Shield as I commute 1.5 hours each way for work on the train. I was hoping to get the Shield to enjoy some (Android) gaming while on the train, and then the benefits of gamestream when im at home.

 

So, do I look at getting an original Shield, or do you think there would be a way to mount the tablet to the controller?

We still don't know if they will also sell the Updated shield 2 with the new SoC, you should wait until 21st to decide

Now that its been confirmed I have no idea how the new tablet can be used for mobile gaming... apart from taking it somewhere then setting up and gaming but theres not way I can use the tablet on a train.
