Input on Star Citizen Build

I am building a new PC for Star Citizen because my MSI GT70 runs it on low at 12FPS

This will be part of a SimPit i am constructing.

SLI in the future

Any Advice on the tower simpit or peripherals is more than welcome

My goal is atleast 1080P at 50-60Fps and i have $1600 to spend. I prefer Asus video cards and motherboard

Current Parts for build:

Samsung Evo 512Gb SSD

Samsung LED Monitor

Logitech G700

Siatek X55 Rhino

Astro A40 Headset with Mix Amp

This is what im looking at so far to buy:

CPU Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core $199.99

CPU Cooler Corsair H105 73.0 CFM Liquid $114.99

Motherboard Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO ATX LGA1150 $204.99

Memory Kingston Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 $182.74

Storage Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM $69.99

Video Card Asus GeForce GTX 780 3GB DirectCU II $499.99

Case Corsair C70 Military Green (Green) ATX Mid Tower $119.99

 Power Supply Corsair 750W ATX12V / EPS12V $119.99

Update:

I decided to go with the chepper i5-4690K 3.5Ghz

I also really need help on picking Ram from what ive seen the hight the MHz does not get you the best bang for you buck. Any Recommendations?

I cant decide between the

ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK1 ATX Intel Motherboard

ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO Z97 Motherboard

The case is going to be Olive Drab green and have an old school big red button look to it so the Sabertooth would match better and it has rock solid reliability with a 5 year warranty, and the thermal armor

but the Maximus VII Hero has there new ROG SupremeFX , and ROG GameFirst III network tech in it

CPU Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core $279.99 CPU Cooler Corsair H105 73.0 CFM Liquid $114.99 Motherboard Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO ATX LGA1150 (Amazon Override) $204.99 Memory Kingston Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 $182.74 Storage Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM $69.99 Video Card Asus GeForce GTX 780 3GB DirectCU II $499.99 Case Cooler Master HAF XB EVO ATX Desktop $94.99 Power Supply Corsair 750W ATX12V / EPS12V $119.99

Well... Do you really need an i7 4790k? If you are not going to do heavy photoshop/video rendering etc (which by the fact that you have an LED monitor probably mean you dont) then an i5 4690k should be more suitable and cheaper for you

ASUS board is good but really expensive, and the DirectCU II isnt a very good cooler, so how about switching to MSI instead? The MSI Z97 G45 Gaming Motherboard + Twinfroz GTX 780.

For 1 GPU system you dont need a 750W PSU, get a 600W instead

My rig: Intel Core i7 4790k | MSI Z97 PC Mate | GSKILL Ripjaws X 16GB 1866MHz | ADATA Premier SP550 480GB SSD | Seagate Barracuda 3TB | Seagate Barracuda 2TB  | MSI Gaming X GTX 1070 | Thermaltake Versa N21 | Corsair CX550M Semi Modular PSU | AOC G2460PF 144Hz | Logitech G502 | GSKILL Ripjaws KM780  | GAMDIAS HEPHAESTUS V2  PCPartPicker | Old Build Log | New Build Log

Ok i did some research and your rite the i5 will do just fine.

On the PSU i plan on going SLI later on in the year so i dont want to upgrade it then.

On the MoBo and VC i havent really had good luck with MSI but they have some pretty good pricing that making me think otherwise.

Rite now my build is sitting at just over $1200 and one of my old battles from the Army is paying me $1000 for my MSI GT70. $200 on asus parts is fine for me
