So I have a 23 inch monitor connected to my AMD 7750 via DVI. I have another DVI port and an old Samsung TV, 19 inch, 1440x900. I know this is the resolution of the TV, I've used it before. Any way, with the DVI connection, Windows sees it as a 1080p display for some reason, and its almost like the pixels don't know where to be. they jitter up and down. I played with the resolutions and setting it to 900p didn't fix anything. It didn't do this on VGA, but that port has a bent receiver so it has a blue tint (its almost silly.) so just switching to VGA isnt an option. It does have component inputs, and I found a dvi to component converter on amazon. Would that fix this jittering?

***I know it is not the cable or graphics card because both ports on the graphics card I tested with my main monitor and same with the DVI cables.

Thanks!

I could be very wrong

Have to ask one question, why do 16:10 TVs even exist. My parents have one in their room (it's also a Samsung) and information gets cut off because of it not being 16:9. It's totally ridiculous. Don't TV manufactures know that TVs need to be 16:9? Stupidity stupid it is.

Okay, rant over.

OP, what was your problem again? :D

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

lol thats why I got it so cheap, the original owners hated the letterboxing on this thing  :P

And it WAS jittering on the DVI, but I sort of fixed it. For some ungodly reason, at 1152x648, I have a laft inch or so letterbox thing, but it for some reason stopped the jittering.

So, I guess thanks for the suggestions guys

Can you make it more clear which of those two are you actually having problems? hard to tell...

If its a monitor, I suggest you look for driver via web.

have you tried unplugging and replugging the DVI cable? how about swapping another cable?

Yeah, we're all just a bunch of idiots experiencing nothing more than the placebo effect.
