Why is PC getting no love in the sim racing genre, i am familiar with the likes of rfactor and race 07 but they are feeling very dated now, why does pc have nothing, playstation has gran tourismo and xbox has forza (lol a sim) but PC has few new releases, so what are your best PC Racing sims, leave your reply in the comments below please!

It's easier to push shovel-ware crap to the consoles.

Making a driving sim on the PC nearly requires the users to have additional peripherals besides the standard mouse and keyboard to play properly. While many people have no problem buying a wheel, pedals, shifter for a quality game. Publishers see it as a massive draw back and don't bother pursuing PC as a primary development platform.

If a publisher feels the game wont play as well with just a keyboard and mouse they likely skip the PC only making low end ports after console release.

That's my thought process on it at least.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

While GT and Forza aren't really in sim cathegory, you have a point there. PC gets too few racing games which don't include street racing, nitro boosts and crazy arcade feel. NFS is pretty much only exclusive to pc racing game series that has real cars and tracks. Problem is that EA isn't using dlc option, so those get outdated quickly (newer ones might have some?). For me getting real sim game has one big problem. Difficulty. I don't want to buy game I don't end up playing much at all.

I personally don't like racing games but you should take a look at iRacing. After all of Intel's ads on Linus' vids I went to take a look and that seems pretty hardcore to me.

I wish these companies would stop making their games exclusive to the consoles or a single console. I know they're doing this to drive up sales for the console they release the game for but think of us PC guys :(
