I am planning on a new build, I will be using the i5 4690K (hopefully be able to OC it to around 4.5 GHz) with a R9 280X, if you were wondering.

I live in Canada, and PCPartPicker barely updates their prices for Canada, and since NCIX is the closest store, my dad prefers to shop there. So please, feel free to go to the Canadian NCIX to find some Z97 that can overclock fairly, ATX, supports 2 way CrossFire (or SLI, I might go with team green), and is from either ASUS, Gigabyte, or MSI. ASRock is fine too, although I don't like them for whatever reason it is. Oh, I almost forgot, MUST HAVE WIRELESS ONBOARD INTERNET. There are combo deals, such as:
http://www.ncix.com/detail/intel-core-i5-4690k-unlocked-c2-97889-1286.htm

http://www.ncix.com/detail/ncix-bundle-deal-asus-z97-pro-60-98345-1286.htm

http://www.ncix.com/detail/ncix-bundle-deal-asus-sabertooth-ac-99353-1457.htm

There is an ROG one, but I think ROG is overpriced. I like the second deal, the Z97 PRO. It looks great and has what I like, especially the wi-fi.

Don't just settle for combos, I'm fine with any other board! In fact, I would like to try out Gigabyte or MSI. The MSI Gaming 9 has wifi, so I'll check that out too.

and get a PCI-E 1X wifi card

I considered that. It's not a bad idea of course. I have the Z87-A, and the would either: not fit because of my H60 reservoir, the other slot would block my GTX 770 air flow, and I don't wanna put it into a PCIe x16 slot because I'm an idiot.

This board has a good PCIe layout, so it'd be great. Can you find a wifi card for me?

I wanted good for overclocking, but not extreme overclocking. But it must have wi-fi.

you dont have to do extreme overclocking on it ya know. i would just get a pcie 1x wifi card if i was you.

I'd still feel that it's wasted. That board is made for extreme OC, and that means on a test bench too. I won't need to touch any of the OC Panel buttons, so I waste 20 functions of it. All I want is a simply Z97 board, which means good for overclocking, (nothing more than 4.5 GHz, I think 4.2 GHz is good enough for a R9 280X/GTX770 (pricing is very similar, so is performance).) I don't want any cards because that will distort my airflow, and I'm going to air cool. I don't like liquid coolers because the rads always have bent fins, and that ain't good.

At this point getting WIFI cards is idiotic unless you need wireless AC (and are maxing it out) to stream things to your television. I've been happy with USB solutions for years. USB 3.0 high-gain 1200AC antenna from Netis. Best investment I've made in the wifi world.

Exactly. All I need is onboard wifi. I don't want to take it up with a USB port either.

Onboard WIFI generally = huge price hike, and how many USB ports do you use? I barely use more than half of my 6 USB 3.0 ports, and the mouse/keyboard are on the USB 2.0 ports.

I don't want to have anything in the way. Some times I stick my hands into the back to feel it's rear... and I don't wanna hit it.

Eh, paranoia to me. Use an LED strip and just go slow. It takes a lot of force to just break a USB junction like how you seem afraid of doing by accident.

Nope. Just get onboard. I like a clean rig. Only keyboard and mouse USB ports, HDMI for gfx, and power cord.

And then there's my friend with a Z77-A. Even he admits it's ugly. Compared to that, Z87-A is a beauty. Z97 PRO is like completely beautiful. ROG is just unfair.

i have an z77 mpower and a z97x soc force so i am used to nice boards. i do have a gigabyte 970a ds3 and that is terrible and i has put me off low end boards forever.
