So i figured its about time i get rid of my games since they have been sitting on the shelve collecting dust for years...

and im curious should i just throw it out or is it worth trading them into EBgames?

my games :

fable 2+3

halo 3+reach

every cod from Cod MW-MW3

i also have like 30 games from the original xbox (im guessing useless)

and i have the original xbox 360 (pro i think its called?)

worth trading in for 10$ (if i get that much) or just toss it away? ..  i haven't been into a game store in years since everything i buy is digital now so.. lol

and everything else is too much of a hassle.. i rather just dumb it i think..

I'm sure a less privileged family with young children would appreciate a game system. I remember when I had the first playstation (with mod chip) and about 75+ "backed up" games... it made the kids of someone my dad knew VERY happy when we got our PS2 for Christmas.

Or if you have nieces/newphews/cousins who are too young for a newer console. Even if you don't have any games suitable for them, they can go into cash converters or some other type of place and buy kids games for a couple bucks (or trade the ones you have for them)

I always guarantee that no more than 50% of what I say is useful.

I don't know if EB Games is the same in Canada but I traded my Nintendo DS Lite in once and only got like $50 AUD. No scratches, nothing.

MxZeal seriously it doesn't take much time at all to put up a classified ad for free and if you get it sold right away great and if not let it collect more dust til you get the right offer.  As for EB Games/GameStop, FS, and BB having any good promos well keep an eye on what they have and see if it is worth it to you.  Lately their promos to me have stunk.  They did have decent ones leading up to the release of the new consoles where you could have traded a crappy Xbox 360 for $100 towards a next gen console.  That is one of the best I remember.  As for current promos they have one where you can trade games worth $8 TIV and get $20 for them towards a next gen console.  This promo used to be really good in the old days when you could find qualifying games you could buy for $8 or less at various stores and then use them in this promo but like I said those were the old days.  The trade game went to hell about 2 years ago I believe.

MxZeal make a list of the games you have and then look up used values for the games at tivs.ca and check what EB Games, Best Buy and Future Shop charges for these games used and then look up what EB Games charges for a used console.  Get a total, compare it to what people are selling their bundles for in online classifieds and just do better than they are offering.

Eh in regards to selling stuff used or marking stuff up that you got cheap well nobody is buying much where I am.  How are things in the city/area you live in?

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

I would sell mine on craigslist, but my area is pretty active. Amazon does trade ins too. There are game trading websites like 99gamers.com and gametz. I don't really know if my suggestions help for Canada though. At the very least, give them away like take them to the Canadian equivalent of goodwill for a tax deduction.
