I'm planning to get an MSI Z87 G45 gaming motherboard with the Kingston HyperX Fury (8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL10) RAM, but i didn't find the memory at the compatibility list of the motherboard. Would it be an issue? It won't work at all? Thanks guys in advance!

It'll work but try and get CL9 RAM instead, if you can, it's quicker.

There are too many different ram kits to include in any compability chart. And so many mobos also. Basic things you need to check when choosing right ram is:

- Version. New stuff is DDR3

- Max amount of Gb's and sticks. For Gb's its usually 32Gb and for sticks its 2-8 depending on form factor.

- MHz. This is usually shows as list where 1333 and 1600 are defaults (new stuff) and others have OC tag. Remember to also check that mobo supports XMP etc.
