FL studio is good I use it.

There's also Abelton Live, Reason, Cubase, and many others. I'd go in order of mention though but give FL studio and Abelton an equal look. Both are great and have their own sort of work flow. See which one works best for you. ^_^

From Apple's Side, I'd use GarageBand and Logic Pro

For Mastering and Mixing, it's Audacity (Available for Both Windows and IOS) and ProTools

 

There are other stuff like Cakewalk Sonar and CuBase but the ones on the top are the software i used a few years ago for my Diploma in Music and Audio Technology.
