Loading mouse wheel in skyrim?

Theres a loading wheel on my Skyrim when I play and it doesn't go away. It's controlled by my mouse. I can look around but the wheel is forever on the screen and its very annoying. Please help!

 

PS: First time playing skyrim. 

 

EDIT: Whenever I tab out of the game and go back, everything is black and the sound is on. I can't do anything on the screen and have to quit. How can I fix that, if possible?

This is what I do to fix the black screen: after I alt+tab and want to go back to the game, I click back onto the Skyrim window, see black screen, press Windows key, then press the Skyrim window again.

Can't help you with the cursor bug, though. Haven't encountered that.
