Microsoft takes cloud computing to the clouds

http://www.dailytech.com/To+the+Cloud+Microsoft+Signs+20Year+Contract+for+175+MW+of+Wind+Power/article36221.htm

A new 20-year agreement to purchase the output of a 175-megawatt wind farm in Pilot Hill, Illinois was announced this week by Microsoft Corp. (MSFT), marking its second major 100+ megawatt commitment in under a year.

So MS have purchased green power for their Chicago data center,  Not only good for the environment but as one of the world's largest cloud data centers, a 20 year contract indicates just how long  MS expects to be operating such centers.
