Logitech G502

Go to solution Solved by Amr0d,

I got my G502 a few days ago and I am surprised how good it feels. I mean some of the reviews are not good since many people complain about the mouse wheel or broken mousebuttons. The mousebuttons have a short nice click and are easy to press plus they are "mechanical" and hold for a few million clicks according to Logitech.

The size is similar to a Steelseries Rival or a G5. The overall quality is pretty good since nothing is moving where it shouldn't and the design is awesome. Only negatives are the missing RGB LED for the "G" which can only light blue. Although it can be dimmed or turned off. The cable is braided and fits into most of the mouse bungees and it is very flexible, more flexible than other Logitech products. Sidebuttons are clicky aswell which is important for since I use them alot and need the feedback that the G5 didn't have.

The rubber grip is pretty good although I am curios how long that rubber will last.

tl;dr I really like the mouse and would recommend it to friends or buy again if lost ;)

If you have questions just ask and I will try to have a look if I can answer or provide photos.

Im considering this mouse, and at 75 USD with a lot of features i like are there any negative features about this mouse you know about? Also if you think that there is a better mouse for the money recommend it, im always open to suggestions.

I'm buying one next week. I can put up a review once I buy it and tag you, if you want.

Im buying it next week :/ (if i decide on it). I watched the Hardware Canucks review and they said it was pefect in every way except for the non-color changing light, and the teflon bottoms corner peeled.

If you can wait a bit I can tell you a bit about it. Also, I heard logitech will send you replacement feet if that happens.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

What keyboard do you have ATM? Because if you have a alright one that isn't broken you should save for PC parts.

I have a old non- mechanical hp membrane. I was gonna grab this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-keyboard-sgk4020gkcl1us it is backlit and the space efficent layout is great.

My current keyboard is mechanical and stuff. It's not backlit however and that's like the only thing that bothers me. Because of said keyboard I cannot use any keyboard with an attached number pad.

I have an AZio Levetron Mech 5.

Regarding the feet peeling, I have a feeling that's related to the surface the mouse is used on. I use a soft mouse pad (material upper), and have had my G502 since shortly after release. Not a hint of peeling on my feet.

How's the build quality on yours? I had one for about two days and in that time the non-mechanical pad literally fell apart, and the clips that hold the numpad onto the left broke as well.

Had it for a year, still in great condition. Mind you I've been using the numpad as a separate game pad almost the whole time. I love it and now I can't use a keyboard that doesn't have a detachable numpad.

Using my G502 as I type this post, probably the best mouse I've used. I would like some more support for pinky/ring fingers but other than that this mouse is amazing. My G502 has been used for one month and the feet are also in perfect condition. It's being used on a hard mouse mat (Steelseries 4HD) and I honestly don't see my mouse feet going the way of Hardwarecanucks' review sample. Logitech has a great 3-year warranty (compared to other companies like Madcatz and razer's 1-year warranties) as well so I wouldn't worry at all when it comes to durability and longevity.

10/10 would recommend I have recommended to a friend

proud owner of alienware 13 with graphic amplifier and also a alienware X51 gaming PC!!! really powerfulL!!

I used to rock with the Logitech G9X, so when people say the G502 is the worthy successor of it, it's kinda tempting to me. Moreover, I'm in love with Logitech Customer Support Service, so definitely will give it a try when it has some deals for me to pick up.

P/s: The Steelseries Rival looks pretty cool too :)

I own the G502 upgraded from my G500. I have no complaints. Love the DPI range.I really like high sensitivity the G500 wasn't cutting it on my 1080p mmonitor

Very comfortable I play games for hours without any strain.

More programmable buttons than I would ever use but I have done a few macros and they work great.

I would definitely recommend this mouse!
