mic not working in obs

so I just got obs and I set everything that is perfect for me and when I tried talking in to the mic no voices came out and when I checked the mic settings all it showed was a green bar going up and down repeatedly and it was in preview stream and i'm not sure if its my mic or if it is my settings I have a steel series headset so I don't think anything is wrong with it and I tried watching some videos to help me out but it didn;t work so I tried different mics but still that didn't work, any way to fix it?

obs mic problem 

I have a steel series mic --> http://steelseries.com/products/audio/steelseries-siberia-v2when 

When I talk in to the mic the bar won't move, yes it is in preview

and pictures of my mic noise gate and audio 

if there is a problem please tell me about it

In the Audio tab set the "Mircophone/Auxiliary Audio Device" to your headset and it should work.
