Hi guys i want to build a gaming pc for current and future gaming for $1500 ,including my display can u please suggest me to build my pc .... i live in india

First of all, the price in India, according to other previous ppl from India who asking for a build here said, is quite high, so I'd take it down to around 1k2, but you have to check for the price yourself.

Motherboard: MSI Z97-G45 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($131.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($86.38 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 770 2GB TWIN FROZR Video Card  ($289.99 @ Newegg)
Monitor: LG 23MP55HQ-P 60Hz 23.0" Monitor  ($129.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $1115.19
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

The price show here (1115) is taken promotion etc in US in to account, the real price is about 1200 USD, check for the price in India yourself. Also if even this is higher than 1500$ when converted to India price, change the GPU down in this order: 770>AMD R9 280x/280>GTX 760>R9 270x/270

My rig: Intel Core i7 4790k | MSI Z97 PC Mate | GSKILL Ripjaws X 16GB 1866MHz | ADATA Premier SP550 480GB SSD | Seagate Barracuda 3TB | Seagate Barracuda 2TB  | MSI Gaming X GTX 1070 | Thermaltake Versa N21 | Corsair CX550M Semi Modular PSU | AOC G2460PF 144Hz | Logitech G502 | GSKILL Ripjaws KM780  | GAMDIAS HEPHAESTUS V2  PCPartPicker | Old Build Log | New Build Log

He's right, prices here are expensive, try this config

Look at www.flipkart.com, www.theitdepot.com and www.amazon.in for competitive prices. You will actually find better prices on the streets, for Example if you go to SP Road in Bangalore you will get much cheaper prices, just make sure you go to reputed stores. Same way even in Delhi and Mumbai you just need to know where to look and you will get very good discounts. JUST BE CAREFUL AND GO TO LEGITIMATE STORES WHICH GIVE WARRANTY, BILL etc...

I would suggest

Intel i5 4670K - Rs.16595

MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Z97 Mobo - Rs.16650

MSI nVidia GTX 760 TF 2GB GDDR5 - Rs.19898

Corsair H80i Cooler - Rs.6599

Corsair RM750 750W PSU - Rs.9202

Corsair Vengence RAM 2X8GB 1600MHz - Rs.9000

Corsair Obsidian 750D - Rs.11760

Seagate Barracuda 2TB - Rs.5549

Total:- Rs.95253 {Slightly above the price range, but good specs according to me and is slightly better for upgrades}

I wouldnt suggest getting a 750D, it's way too big and unnessecary expensive. Better go with a 450D or any other cheaper case and pump that money into a GPU instead. A 770 or 280 is still possible I think?

Isnt the Gaming 5 more expensive than the G45 with no real benefit too?

I wouldnt suggest a 120mm radiator AIO, you better go with air cooler at this stage, something like a 212 EVO

With only 1 GPU there's no need for 750W PSU, get a 600W PSU from Corsair instead

At this price point (from around 1000$ or more) usually there will be an SSD in, so better get a 120GB SSD, something like Kingston V300.

I was suggesting the 750D for future upgradability and the 450D costs only Rs.3000 less it isn't much of a difference and the 770 would go way out of budget. The 770 costs around $415 here unless he looks at some stores which sell for much cheaper rate. An R9 280 3 GB is possible though, just a Rs.1000 extra, good suggestion. Missed that one!

The gaming 5 might not provide too many benefits but it is a Z97 Board and it would benefit him with the next series of processors and in case he wants to change his processor, I doubt he would do it but who knows.

Why not the AIO? It would benefit him if he overclocks and also it's pretty hot here in India.

Sorry, yes a 600W PSU would be better here, I doubt he would be upgrading to SLI/Cross Fire any time soon.

An Intel 520 120GB SSD costs around Rs.6300 I guess you could fit it in.

So....

New Config

Intel Core i5 4670K - Rs.16595

MSI Z97 Gaming 5 Mobo - Rs.16650

MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB - Rs.21000

Corsair H80i Cooler or Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - Rs.6599/Rs.2750

Corsair RM650 650W PSU - Rs.8239

Corsair Vengeance RAM 2X8GB 1600MHz - Rs.9000

Corsair Obsidion 750D or Corsair Obsidion 450D - Rs.11760/Rs.8345

Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD - Rs.6300

Seagate Barracuda 2TB - Rs.5549

Total:- Rs.94428 {taking into account the cheapest products listed above}

The 750 is still way too big. 450 is already big enough for even 2-3 ways SLI with custom water cooler loop, while for the 750D I havent seen many build that can fully filled that case, but well, if you want...

The G45 I'm talking about is the MSI Z97 G45

If you go with AIO better go with one with a 240mm radiator, like the H110, H100i, X60 etc (especially if you use such a big case), The 120mm radiator one like the H80i isnt all that great compare to the 212 Evo,

For SSD, you can probably settle down with a Kingston V300 120GB SSD or Samsung Evo, or any other SSD for that matter, cause Intel stuff is usually not cheap.

Ok if you are sure about it, then I guess the 450D should do. I guess I like Big cases! LOL

Oh my bad sorry, had seen a different one. How much does it cost approx?

Hmmm... I assumed the H80i was better. Alright then 212 Evo should do the job.

The price difference between the 2 is very less, wouldn't matter. I still suggest Intel over Kingston.

The G45 is 131 USD, while gaming 5 is 149 USD :P

I see, if so then Intel is good
