I have produce an exact carbon copy of this thread in my blog under my name it'll redirect you there or you can fill it out here I guess.

http://linustechtips.com/main/blog/15/entry-233-case-questionnaire-14072014/

So if you may or may not know of whether you read blogs, I'm currently designing two upcoming cases which'll probably be released around next year 2015 during mid-summer or the autumn period. The first case will not be for sale but if I feel that there is a audience that deems worthy I may put it into to-order batch produce, the second case will be purchasable from my upcoming website to order/pre-order if I can produce enough stock & based on a lot more of key manufacturing elements.

I have produce a simple poll which I'd like the community to answer, you can also write out and justify your reason if necessary (which will be helpful in-terms of feedback for me.) If you want to know more about what I'll be doing follow me on my blog not twitter.

I think my last question is; what case are you currently using and why? as

Stupid date format is stupid.

If you're randomly dropped in to a different time period, what's more useful to you, the day or the month?

Month.

Reason being is that because we're an agricultural society it's more important for a human to know what month it is rather than the day that way you can judge what time of the year it is based on the crop cycle.

Going by ascending segments makes zero sense as to why you would want to know what day it is first.

I like NZXT's cases so much. Functional and they look pretty cool, to me.

Phantom 410.

I will spend up to $200, but overhyping keeps me away from Fractal Design, NZXT and some of Corsair's stuff. Still, I prefer Corsair cases.

Going by that logic I think it would be better for the year to come first.

Since the day changes the most often it's more useful to me having the day come first, plus ascending order is probably less confusing if you were to teach someone the date format.

Year is useless information when you're trying to figure out when you need to pick up the crops. Reason why our date format has been month/day/year forever.

It's only a lazy way of saying the current date, to just make it ascend instead of giving you the useful information first.

"It's the 28th" "Great, is it snowing or is it melting the asphalt?"

"It's December" "Great, it's snowing."

See how much more information you get out of the month than the date?

I suppose it's not as useful when you're living in the city, the day is the thing most people have trouble keeping track of. In places like Singapore where it's summer all year round the month is even less relevant. If I were to be dropped into a random time period though the first thing I would want to know is what year I'm in.

Yeah, you Brits are weird about a lot more things than just the date.

Lift for example, does that mean it doesn't go down? :P

Elevate means the same thing as lift  :P

And you 'Muricans can't seem to agree on anything lol
