In-Between Cases

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

Ya, I saw the post. But the dimensions for that board and the Z97 (EVGA Classified) I want to get are a little different.

Im not the biggest fan of returning stuff, but if you could confirm that will fit in ok, I would be grateful.

the EVGA is .30" narrower than the RIVE. so if the RIVE fits, the EVGA should be

just as tidy.

I have been really having a hard time choosing cases for my next build. I was going to go with a H440 but it does not fit an E-ATX motherboard, so I have been thinking of a few options and would like some input from you guys.

CASE LIST

Fractal Midi R2

NZXT Phantom 530

Betfenix Colossus Venom Windowed (I know about the LED problems)

Corsair 760T

Corsair Obsidian 750D

I know its a broad spectrum of cases, but still nonetheless would love some input.

Thanks Guys.

Play time is Ogre.

The Bitfenix Colossus supposedly has bad airflow. The NZXT Phantom 530 doesn't strike me in terms of aesthetics. The 750D is more for water coolers (the same could be said about the 760t, but it seems much more like a consumer product). The Arc Midi R2 doesn't show EATX support on their site. It's between the 750D and the 760t, IMO. I would choose the 750D, because I like the brushed aluminum finish.

starting here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/117203-unofficial-ltt-nzxt-h440-owners-club/?p=1564216

shows H440 with RIVE installed. can be done, but some mods are needed.

Do you really need a E-ATX? I'm assuming you want the R4BE?

Go for the 760T. It's gorgeous.

Ya,I saw that and I love the side panel but its just so hard to pick!! But if I can get a fit into the h440 ill have to pass on it. If not I might just go with that.
