Why Does the Apple Cube Charger Not Charge Properly?

If worse comes to worse and its not working goto a apple store and they will give you a new one for free.

I don't have an Apple store anywhere near me :\

It's the 30-pin, however it is brand new and I've tried other cables as well, we are severely limited on the actual usb adapter that plugs in the wall.

Plug it into your computer and see how fast it charges from there.

That powerbrick might be ded. Ive killed one.. It went through the wash 2x times before it died though.

Also smell yours, does it smell like death? Or new product?

I can't tonight, as I have to wake up in the morning and need my phone near me, I will try this tomorrow after work however.

That might mean you Killed the resistors in it that "tell" the iphone to charge at 1Amp instead of half a amp.
