4k or Eyefinity

Hey I'm upgrading my monitor situation. I was just wondering what thoughts anyone can add to my decision. Do you have experience with eyefinity, 4k, or both?  I'm either going to get 3 monitors or one 4k monitor. Which setup do you enjoy gaming on more? Also, if you have a three monitor setup, do you think 24" is a good size, or 27"?

I personally prefer 3 monitors over one high res one. Productivity wise, it's much better. For gaming it's personal preference.

3 1440P monitors, not only are 3 monitors pretty nice for gaming, you can also use them for productivity tasks.

I used to debate 3x 60hz monitors or a 144Hz. I chose 144Hz. But, this debate...I would choose 3 144Hz 1080p monitors over 1 4K @60Hz.

 

I have a 55" 4K@30Hz(30Hz for now). Which is practically 4 27" 1080p screens. So 3 27" would be 3/4 of 4K, with super wide aspect ratio.

I'd choose 4k personally, also not a lot of games really benefit from eyefinity imo

I will stick with x3 24" 1080p screens for now. 1440p you will be hard pushed to get away with 2 cards on Tripple A games on ultra details.

Eyefinity. Since 4k has little support right now in terms of scaling, movies, software, etc, 3 1080p or 1440p monitors makes way more sense.

You benefit more from a higher definition than from peripheral vision in a lot of games (namely FPS games where "up" is as important as left and right if not more and eyefinity stretches the images on the sides)
