so I'm building a rig for someone and it is based around the 6790k, and when I started it I saw pretty high idle temps about 50c, and I thought to myself that is unacceptable and opened it up and replaced the thermal paste with my arctic silver 5, and when I started it up I saw this

now I never used a APU, but I don't think it should be this high

AMD has stupid thermal sensors, sometimes they show negatives even, so dont look too much into it, if its not overheating

I've got a Noctua NHC-12 se14. Kind of an low profile cooler.

But my case is crap and all my fans run at really low rpms so that might explain it.

this APU system is in a N200, and have to say if I was to build another mATX system I would use this case again

That's actually good to hear. I've been eying the case.

But knowing me the upgrade will come when this case is obsolete.

just so you know you will most likely not be able to get the 24pin behind the motherboard tray, and if you are interested I have pics of the build
