I'd give the edge to Jordan since he was more of a 1 on 1 guy than LeBron is.

It's really difficult to gauge. Lebron has another 8-9 years left in the NBA save for any serious injuries. Unless he wins a championship nearly every year from here on out, Jordan will unquestionably have had the better career. Lebron has the body to play every single position on the court. He can run point, guard centers and is athletic enough to do everything with a decent-good 3pt and mid range jumper. Jordan had a much better jumper and more of a killer instinct on the court. Both are in the top 5 of all time tbqh. 

 

Who would win 1 on 1? Probably James to be honest. Way more athletic, taller and way stronger. He could drive to the hoop and overpower Jordan.
