Can you use Javascript in a forum signature?

Beaniie

I have a small snippet of code I found on the web that allows a user to interact with content rendered on a page in an interesting way. I had the idea to use this snippet on my forum signiture but have no idea if it is possible or not. I know that javascript is usually stored server side so, I was curious as to weather it would be possible to link the signature to the content via a url if I were to host it elsewhere?

Erm... No. If you could put in javascript to do weird stuff, what's to stop me from adding a script that will steal your login cookie or even username and password (if you logged in on a page with my sig on) and sending it to me? This is called XSS (cross-site scripting) and it's one of the largest security issues on the Web today.

HTTP/2 203
