Just wanted to know if what this means, the 10 pin of the 24 pin connect when plugged in makes my psu not turn on. I can plug everything else in inluding the 14 pin, but as soon as I plug that in it wont turn on. Wondering if its the cord, the mobo, or the cord.

So pin number 10 causes it to shut off and pin 11 does not? So it works without 10? Every rail on the PSu works but as soon as pin 10 goes in it fails? Very odd.

I would bet the motherboard, or the cord has a short. That said, wouldn't the cord short weather connected to the mobo or not?

Try another psu see where that gets you
