I already connected the 8pin connector on 8pin socket... Should i connect 4+4pin instead of 8pin?

doesn't matter which 8-pin EPS harness you use, just that you have at least one

of them installed. the 8-pin (solid) is usually for dual 8-pin motherboards for LN2

operation. the common 4+4 is widely used. but again, either as the pin out is the

same, just adaptable to different motherboards.

Hi everyone right now im assembling my first PC i got Be Quiet 650w dark power PSU

And i have Asus Sabertooth Z87 MB

And i have define r4 case

What i want you guys is to help me routing cables to the right place

What i already did is connecting 24 pin cable +sata cables along with USB 3 cable to MB

What im confused about there is cable came with PSU that has 8pin and 4+4 pin connector in one cable the 4+4 pin labeled as cpu1 and cpu2 don't know what 8pin labled as but i already connected the full 8pin to the 8pin socket on top part of MB

There is this one 4pin cable labeled as MB which i connect it to power the front buttons of the case..

Don't know if what i did is right or not and im afraid to power on my pc if the cables aren't in the right place.

Please guide me step by step even though i watched many videos before posting this here this is my first build and i don't want to ruin it. :/

Can you please take some pictures so we can assist you better? It's hard to understand you in this situation, the way you've described it.

Humpty Dumpty was pushed.

Just plug one of the 4+4 cable in your 4 pin connector on your mobo.

I think you need the 4+4 CPU (1/2). You need both 4+4 so you have 1x 8 pin cable. And your mobo only supports 8 pin CPU power.
