I have a license key for Windows 8, and I was wondering if I could use it on a clean Windows 8.1 installation, or do I have to install Windows 8, and then upgrade?

 

If anyone knows, please let me know.

You'll need to to install Windows 8 and than upgrade for 8.1 for free form the windows market.
