PC randomly shutting down

When i play games on my pc it randomly restarts the computer just after a couple of minutes playing. My cpu and gpu does not even have high temps. this happens sometimes even if im not playing games. on top of that when i have my pc turned off it will not start before i have turned off and on my psu. is it something wrong with my psu? or is it something else? (i have a AMD fx-6300 cpu, a AMD R9 270x gpu, a corsair cx 600m, 600w psu and Windows 8).

I have the same CPU. Are you using the stock cooler, or an aftermarket cooler? When your pc shuts down, is it making a really loud airplane sound? Like a really loud spinning fan? I want to make sure it really isnt your temps.

Have you done anything in this BIOS? or any type of Overclocking?
