desktop cpu voltage too high?

Cpu-Z tells me that the AMD Athlon II X4 645 runs with 1,41 volts, isnt that too much for a stock clocked (3,1Ghz) cpu?

If you haven't changed the voltage, you're fine. Even if you have, people run them well over 1.5v and are fine.

multimeter, if your motherboard supports it. If not, I would us what the motherboard says and what CPU-Z says to guide you because both can be inaccurate.

Go into your BIOS and look. CPU-Z said my Sempron (when it was unlocked) had a 866 watt TDP.

When you go to boot it, mash DEL. On most AMD boards it's that.

It was a joke ^^ a couple of posts earlier I had said ironically that the sempron hd a tdp of 9001 watts, to which .@tmcclelland455 answered that he thought it was as "low" as cpu-z said (866 watts) and I told him to change the heatsink...
