any tips for a beginner watercooler?

i'm planning on replacing my h80i and cool my 4930k with a custom loop. but this is my first time doing it. any tips? my case is a silverstone tj11 and no, i'm not planning on watercooling my gpus. i've ordered 1 360mm radiator by hardwarelabs to put in the basement of my case... sooo.... any important tips i should know before i start? and does anyone have a recommendation for a great reservoir to use?

I like pump/res combos because they look neater and take up less room, Primochill for flexible tubing as they don't have plasticiser in them which can break down and gunk up your block. Either xspc or EK cpu block, I prefer the aquacomputer gear but hell their cpu blocks are dear. I also like EK pre mixed coolant if you want coloured coolant. Which ever fittings you prefer the look of, they all do the same job.

Make sure you have a good amount of spare time, do proper and extensive research, know the capability of your parts, have more tubing than is necessary and don't over tighten the fittings but don't leave it slack either.

Count how many fittings you need.

Count them again.

Count them again.

Get them all in your cart, then count them again.

Count them again, then maybe sleep on it before ordering.

But seriously, it sucks to have everything ready to rock, get halfway through and realize you forgot a fitting.

Yes they are but also the most expensive. Monsoon's are great too. If you are on a tight budget and need quality at a good price check XSPC.
