well i may upgrade it in the future but im not going to at the time being because it costs a lot with the wiring harnesses and everything so should i just get some $30 name brand speakers then and look for a header unit down the line if i want to improve sound quality?

yup.

generally, if you buy anything from Sony and pioneer, you cant go wrong. just for audio stay away from no name brands. I know it sounds rude and harsh, but you will seriously be okay if you stick with well known brands and not store brands.

yup you will hear the difference with the speakers at first then when you get that head unit in there you can really get to the tweaking and you can harness the true power of your music!!!! as for head unit go with *****sony***** kenwood, jvc, or pioneer( i love sony's head units)

check on Nothing More they kickass. they're hard rock but they kick some serious ass. i saw them open for killswitch and trivium here in bmore and never heard of them and they were probably the coolest band ive seen in years no joke. They talked to me and my marine buddy for like 30 mins after the show and signed my hat and shirt and shit! theyre getting pretty big!

I love electronic+heavy music. I was really into trance and EDM like 8ish years ago. then my brother played panic at the disco, and thats what got me into punk-rock stuff, and it just went from there. I'll see you in the sub thread:P

sounds good  :P

I recommend sony car speakers. The only thing that really matters with car speakers is size.

Trust me, (me and my buddies did car speakers in high school) do not cheap out on car speakers, you will regret it when they blow and sound like someone talking from behind a wall.

Walmart is more than sufficient for purchasing standard car speakers. You don't need to buy "audiophile" grade speakers. Something along the lines of sony or infinity should suffice,

Ketchup is better than mustard.

GUI is better than Command Line Interface.

Dubs are better than subs

http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosgate-R1653-6-5-Inch-Speakers/dp/B001P804SO

They dont have to be the 3 way you can go with 2 way or composite speakers if you want to go that route. I stand by rockford and they are the best speakers i have used . Anything from rockford fosgate is high quality.

What kind of deck do you use? Getting a new radio can help a lot if you need a new one.

My profile pic is the game i'm currently playing. I hope i remember to change it..

Not going to find anything too great 50$ is considered low end. But if these are the original ones just about anything from kenwood, pioneer,  or fosgate will sound a lot better.
