CM Hyper 212 EVO questions

The CM Hyper 212 EVO is only 30 bucks, and since I have the money, I might as well buy it and replace my stock cooler with the 212EVO. I know it's only $30 but I hope that it will meet my requirements:

1.) Be able to overlock my i5 4670k to at least 4.3 GHz

2.) Stay at temperatures similar to the ones that I have know whilst overclocked

and 3.) Be able to stay quieter than my heatsink.

 

Maybe I expect too much out of the heatsink, but it's worth a shot, right?

Any further advice, opinions of the 212 evo, and suggestions for another heatsink is welcomed!

2. depends on how high you overclock your chip and your voltages

The overclocking part is based on how well you chip did in the silicon lottery. Best case scenario, it can do 1&2, but it can most definitely do #3. If you need better cooling, you can get an AIO or another fan for your Hyper 212 Evo.

We can't say what your overclock will be or what your temps will be. The overclock is so cpu dependant nobody can tell you anything about yours without guessing, you'll have to figure that out yourself. Same for temps, nobody knows your config, your fans, rooms temps, how the case is located, humidity, etc. There is so much to take into account that varies with each user nobody can tell you what you'll experience. Only you from testing can.

It comes with another set of clips that you put on the back of the heatsink.

for that price just go with the 212 Evo.

Raijintek Ereboss is another great budget cooler if you can get one. Also the Alpenfohn Matterhorn Pure Edition.
