Best Video Editing Program?

I have Vegas Suite 13, and it is a little complicated. I don't know if I am going CUDA or OpenCL yet if that changes anything. I am going to be making gaming videos with lots of transitions, sound effects etc. Oh yeah, is there a pack with a bunch of sound effects, background music etc?

A pack for sound effects, go with Video co-pilots motion plus pack and epic scores for BG Music and go with Open CL with sony vegas because it just destroys cuda in sony vegas.
