Would this kind of PSU work?

I have been thinking about a build for a while, and I have selected a 650W 80+ Gold PSU from Corsair. Would this be enough to power a overclocked i5-4670k with an Asus Directcu 2 R9 290?

Judging by the Corsair + 80Plus Gold + 650W, you're considering an RM650 aren't you?

I'm considering the RM650 yes, I wasn't sure since this is my first build

I easily will power your one card.  As for the psu if you can find an Antec or SeaSonic at the same price get that instead.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S
