Had a little slip up with my mobo, in which i dropped a screw on it and somehow shorted out the ethernet controller.

Gonna be buying a PCI ethernet adapter, but I have a few questions:

Will my mobo controller being shorted out cause any trouble with the PCI controller?

Can anyone recommend a good PCI ethernet adapter?

Many thanks, brethren
