2015 Gaming RIg

So i'm building a new gaming rig and was wondering if it could run games for the next 2-3 years on high or ultra settings, thank you for your input.

You need atleast a 780 for that.

Not really, you would have to upgrade next year to have ultra

get a locked i5 haswell refresh . then in like 2 years upgrade gpu

go with 280X couse it has 3GB vram. 4gb 760/770 not worth it. at all

That would be quite hard to do, especially with your price budget, if you want to have a good rig right now. For 2-3 years it's impossible.

I'd suggest spending less on a gpu right now and getting an ssd instead, then upgrading to a better gpu in the future. SSD's are magical.

i will suggest wait till Dec where you can get better and cheapers parts for Xmas clearance sales
