today i went to my computer shop and i saw a Zotac refrence GeForce GTX 780 at a really low price I'm  already running a MSI GTX 780 3GB TF can i still SLI both of them seeing they are both 780s but from different brands and diffrent models?

 

 The Zoltac model is at half price for some reason i'n thinking of getting it

Yup you can SLI them. I had an EVGA and a Zotac 470 SLI'd for 3 years or so and never had any issues. Brand usually doesn't matter in any way. Especially if it's reference.

If the Zotac one has the same 3GB (which I assume it does) It should be fine to SLI even if it doesn't hell get it at half price and sell it for a little over make some profit?

It'll be fine. As long as it's a 780 as well.

You can even pair 6gb and 3gb. It will make the 6gb a 3gb card. The only time I've ever seen an issue was with a DCUII paired with a PNY card. I can only guess that it is because they have very different power delivery systems. In most situations it will work though.

Make sure to put it above your current 780. The blower will push air out the back, rather than onto the card below it.

But seen that is used only the first card's memory, if i sli 6gb and 3 gb they will work and using the 6gb one?
