I can def. tell that a wired mouse works way better than the wireless mouse I have ( Logitech MX5500 combo) but I've been reading about the new Raser Wireless mouse and I'm hearing good things. Please take a moment and try a wired mouse vs a wireless mouse if you use one and let me know whats the best out there :)

If you play FPS on any competitive level do not play with wireless mouses, but if you are not then ok i used for a long time a wireless Logitech mouse but when i witched to wired i could feel whenever im on a wireless mouse some kind of lag input.

I really couldn't recommend Razer to anyone, wired or wireless unless we were talking about the Deathadder.

I personally love the Razer Naga, some people don't like the 12 buttons but I use them all the time playing WoW, Farcry etc. plus it's wired and wireless. I use wired most of the time but I don't notice a huge difference in wireless either.

Me: Yeah I just really can't get my H220 working again, I've tried everything that was suggested in the forum.

I prefer wired mouses, just because I don't want to deal with batteries / plugging in some cable to make i charge.

If you're thinking about performance, then there shouldn't be a reason to worry. Most gaming grade wiresless mouses will have the same latency as wired mouses.

The Logitech g700s would also be an option :)

I'm hearing a lot of good things about logitechs g700s

I use the normal G700 and even then I cant notice a difference between wired or wireless.. No lag at all..

So I'd definitly buy wireless again (If I know its a good one ofc not some random mouse)

Even if you aren't competitive, I don't know why anyone would hinder themselves :P

To the OP, I have used a G700 for a few months then switched to the g400 after I broke the g700 cause angers. The g400 is just a better feeling mouse. BUT it's not because one's wireless and one's not. It has to do with the sensor more then anything else. I never noticed a difference between wired and wireless and I'm rather picky about that stuff. But honestly, just get a g400 and be happy

Wireless mice do have an minor input lag although it may be negligible (For twitch gaming this can be a huge factor though!), as well as having the need to swap batteries/recharge.

Personally i prefer wired mice to remove all the hassle with handling wireless mice.

+1 mate, all so true! Another thing to consider that I don't think most do is that batteries within the mouse do add some weight you know! So mice with batteries will be quite a bit heavier, (dunno if you like that or not) so keep that in mind.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?

I use a Razer Mamba and I don't notice any input lag while in wireless mode. I also love the convenience of a wireless mouse and not having to deal with a cord. The only issue is sometimes my macro profiles don't auto switch, or take a really long time, when I start a game. ie. I set the DPI up/down buttons to gadgets in BF3 and I don't check the mouse profile before I start playing, then I die cause I can't drop a med-pack. :( In wired mode, there are no problems at all. I hope this helps.

No matter how good a wireless mouse gets you have to ask yourself "do i want to recharge my mouse?", If that's a no, then get a wired mouse.

If you're a casual gamer and don't like wires, wireless is fine...If you're pretty serious about it, forget it. Input lag + battery dying at a bad time = very angry gamer.
