Welcome!

Recently i bought my new PC (nothing fancy)

i5 4460

r9 270x MSI gaming

msi b85-G43m

2x4GB g-skill ripjaws 1600 cl7

CM g550m 80+bronze

I had NO ISSUES whatsoever with any games ive played till now.

2 days ago i installed Witcher 2 from Steam and when i wanted to play it crashed (not responding) so i checked it, uninstalled, installed again and it worked.

From that time ANY game freezes, stop working, crash and leave error on my desktop.. and there isnt all... after 5 seconds in desktop my screen is turning black, white, shows artifacts and eventually it BSOD

I've read that atikmpag.sys is causing this trouble so i uninstalled AMD drivers and install again but no improvement.

I use catalyst 14.4 (didnt use newest beta drivers) and there was absolutely no problem since 1-2months with it.

motherboard bios updated to the latest

Memtest passed

Max stress temperatures are:

CPU: 55C

GPU: 65C

BSODs are only in the time when i play games.. Most of the time it happens when i QUIT THE GAME after like 5-10seconds

Any ideas how can i fix it ? Please dont send me to google bcos there is absolutely NOTHING what can help me.

If you can't fix it with this upload a full dump so I can get a full report on it.

http://windows7themes.net/en-us/fix-atikmpag-sys-atikmdag-sys-blue-screen-errors-bsod/

Remaking this file solved the problem for me in a couple of cases.

Don't use the program they mention you can find it very easily.

I cannot see this site... some kind of 501 error

Here is my dmp file

http://www40.zippyshare.com/v/31771466/file.html

Yah me too must have just happened. here's another link

http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=363233

Step 1: Download and install the latest ati graphic driver.

Step 2: Then go to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers and rename atikmdag.sys to atikmdag.sys.old.

Step 3: Go to ati directory (usually in C:\ATI) and find the file atikmdag.sy_.

Step 4: Copy the file to your Desktop directory.

Step 5: Open cmd.exe by going to Start -> type cmd in the search box and hit enter.

Step 6: Change the directory to Desktop by typing chdir Desktop.

Step 7: Then, type EXPAND.EXE atikmdag.sy_ atikmdag.sys. Or,

expand -r atikmdag.sy_ atikmdag.sys

Step 8: When the expansion is complete, copy the new atikmdag.sys from your Desktop to C:\Windows\System32\Drivers

atikmdag Stopped Responding – Step 9: Restart your computer and the problem should be resolved.

Ill look at the file later when I have time
