I know a bit about computers, and I've had a few pre-built desktops before, but I need advice on this setup. Am I getting the best bang for my buck? Main games that I will be playing are Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Battlefield 4 (Both competitively), and Metro: Last Light (for fun). Reply with suggestions/feedback please. :)

I would spend the extra money on a new Devils Canyon i7 but other than that it looks great especially that headset. :)

I would go with a single 780ti over dual 770s because it allows you to get even more performance when you need it later. EVGA's Classified 780ti is a really great performer with an awesome cooler and high oc potential. Also, do yourself a favor and get a 4790k not a 4770 ;)

Would getting a 4790 instead of a 4790k be adequate? I won't be OC'ing so I thought I could save 50 bucks or so. :)

Plus the OC'ing feature would be a waste, you know?

yes but then you also picked out a z87 board thats haswell mobo not the haswell refresh which the 4790 is so you would want to pick a h97 mobo with that cpu

How much of an increase of performance could I get from using the 780ti? :)

Decrease* The 770 sli would outperform a single 780 Ti.

The parts list isn't that good of a value..

This would be more appropriate for what you're doing: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/WdFWBm

Reasoning?

With a 60 hz display, you're going to be pushing out more frames than your monitor can display. Competitive gaming is one of the few scenarios where I would actually recommend a high frequency TN panel instead of a better looking IPS panel. Going with a 290 wouldn't perform as well as a 770 sli but will still be plenty, is a better value, and will easily hold up until your next gpu upgrade. What I suggested is also cheaper--save any extra money for future upgrades.
