memory ok red light

hi 

 

today i open my case and clean it after i clean my case 

 

i left  side panel open and then  start my pc then i see red light coming from memok button (1 or 2 second)

 

i control my rams  they  are look fine,-windows  still says 8gb

 

but it scare me little bit  

 

is it serious thing or not

The light came on for 1-2 seconds? If so that's perfectly okay. It is just your motherboard checking the ram to see if it is compatible.

If the light stays on then you have a ram problem.

You can also try checking your motherboard manual to see what the different lights mean

Run Memtest86 for a few passes just to double check.

i have it sometimes and sometimes my lights stays on i just have to turn it off  and on

You're welcome. It does it on my asus board as well. I have a ram, cpu, graphics card, and hard drive light that pops on for a second when I boot up the computer. It's just the board making sure everything is okay while booting.
