Hello everybody,

My cousin asked me to build his new gaming pc.

The parts he already has are:

Case: Cooler Master Elite 430

GPU: Sapphire Radeon AMD HD 6870 FleX edition

PSU: OCZ Modstream 600W modular power supply

For the other parts he has a budget of around 450 euros.

The CPU won't be overclocked, so no ''k'' series.

What I had in mind:

ASrock B75M-DGS iB75, SATA 600 RAID, USB 3.00

Corsair 2 x 4GB, PC 12800, CL11, XMS3

Intel Core i5 3570 3.4Ghz 6MB box

Toshiba 500GB SATA 600

Extra:

AOC LED monitor E2250SWDNK 21.5"

Creative Inspire A220

This sums up to about 481 euros.

Feedback is much appreciated, and what do you guys advice me to buy?

Thanks in advance,

Maztzer

Specs: CPU: i5 3570k @4.5Ghz CPUcooler: Corsair H80 RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance @1833Mhz MOBO: MSI Z77A-GD65 GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 670 PE OC PSU: Corsair TX850 FANS: 5x Noctua NF-F12 CASE: Fractal Design Define R4 Windowed with Adjust 108 Fan Controller

If he really only needs 500gb of storage I would get two SSDs in Raid like two of these Samsung 840 Series 250GB :)

Will make his boot times SOO much faster  like a ninja on speed.

Other than that seems pretty awesome. If he didn't already have that GPU I would've suggested a different one, but he already has it so... :)

PROFILEYEAH

What do people even put in these things?

Get atleast ram rated at 1600MHz.

Get a 90 gig ssd install windoes and games on it so that they load faster.

Rest is good.

Would buy a k series porcessor If i were you.

As stated I won't be overclocking, so a k series CPU and SSD is not possible. RAM can be done, but will be expensive. Any suggestions?

That's sad, prices are higher here too. can you provide a site or pricelist of the shop you are buying at?

it means it are the last ones, that's why they're a little bit cheaper :)

And for anyone still questioning the 8350- you can overclock it to all hell

                                                                -performs simularly to 3570

Check out the showdown linus did a while ago bethween the two titans 8350-3570/ 3570 always won for a frame of two but that shouldnt be a problem :D

If you're on a budget the AMD option is a good idea, plus and FX8350 has been seen to perform as well as a 3570k. Another point is that AMD motherboards are cheaper.

How about this: http://gyazo.com/aaddb9f166596e794e5d9a411bc24df6

Subtotal is £413.68 so it should be under 500 after taxes and fees for sure.

The logitech x240 is a better speaker system than the other speakers here. I have the x24's and many agree they are better than even the newer "higher end" revisions of the same speakers.
