Which motherboard?

The reason I'm asking this is because I have the rev 3.0 of the gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 and it has tons of heat problems ,so I'm kinda pissed at gigabyte. but I heard the problem was fixed with the rev 4.0.

Which would be better?

 

 

I'm getting my money back from the rev 3.0 btw, so I will be able to buy either of these easy.

Maybe try ASUS for a while, and if you don't like it, return it, and get Gigabyte. I think that's a win/win.

They ar eboth good, choose the one that has the optionals that suits you more

I'd go for the gigabyte model out of personal experience, but both are equally great.

The issue is only a concern if you're pushing 1.5v+

no I'm stuck with an 8350 that may or may not be nearly murdered because of my mobo.. as well as the GPU... it hit really high temps of 80c almost stable...

If my mobo upgrade still yields horrible performance, I'm going to get rid of the cpu+gpu and buy an i5+a 780 instead of my 770+8350

The issue is only a concern if you're pushing 1.5v+

Idk, I game for 30mins or around there and I it temps of 70C and its almost entierly stable, even after my thermal paste re-application..
