Hey all, could you recommend me some good and stable flash player? I've been having issues with flash players lately and I can't find any version that is stable. I've read that the most stable was 10.1. However, I'm not rulling out the problem lies somewhere else. I've noticed that when I set my CPU from 3.2 to its default speed (2.66ghz) the flash did not freeze my system (so far). On the other side, if it was CPU related issue I think it would freeze in games and all other intensive stuff, but it's not - just the flash content. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

edit:

a bit clarification:

I'm using latest chrome and I meant flash content like youtube videos.

vlc player plays flash and everything else. its not the prettiest but is easly skinned and has a fair bit of functionality even if you have to dig around for it.. just right click and select vlc to open .flv format files.

stay clear of things like grom player.

Try deleting everything on your pc with ccleaner and search your pc for virus or anything like that with malwarebytes(.org) and try it! :)

And also see if your browser has an update or similar, i'd guess you're using chrome and i know the new update it somewhat unstable :/

yes I'm using chrome, and as much as I love chrome, the integrated flash player is annoying :D

It's possible the issue is having two types of flash plugins installed at once, sometimes one plays up. Navigate to chrome://plugins/ click the little '+ Details' on the top right to expand the information, you can then disable one of the two plugins installed (If you have two installed) and test it out using that one, if that doesn't work, try the other. I've found that this fixes many issues when flash player plays up in Chrome.
