Biostar mobos

I have heard so many people say that biostar makes bad mobos. I dont know why and whats wrong with them. Please tell me because i have a biostar mobo and nothing bad has happened. Thanks!

There's nothing really wrong with them, they just don't have the bells and whistles of the main manufacturers or as good software utilities etc.

They're not bad, just don't have as big of a reputation like other manufacturers: Gigabyte, MSI, Asrock, Asus, etc.

They also don't include many of the features the above manufacturers provide.

Asked this same question once......haven't heard complaints about quality but more about aesthetics

My dad's pc has a biostar mobo, it gonna hit 8 years of service in 3 months

They're just ugly as hell it seems.

Biostar like ESC are OE builders and not really mainstream DIY marketed builders.

because they have access to manufacturing and have parts, then they are building

DIY parts. with no real marketing budget, they kinda just do it to do it.

like described earlier, they really aren't the feature rich components like the big 3.

not high end, but more budget conscience and aren't the snazziest. ESC took a swipe

at the DIY with l33t gaming and it is not doing so well. stick to what 'cha know in electronics.
