Carats?

so i am going to be in need of thermal compound soon and i am going to go with the ic diamond but i am concerned because there is a 7 carat and a 24 carat i heard that it is only the amount of compound thats in there but i just want to make sure that they're the same

The 'carats' is just the amount that's in the tube. 

7 carat is 1.5g

24 carat is 4.8g
